Writer
Marcus has loved writing since the age of seven when his poem ‘snow’ was published in the school paper, which was inspired by, well, snow. Since then he has written books, plays, national radio broadcasts, screenplays, and newspaper columns including the Satirical Semite in LA’s Jewish Journal. His journalism has been published by British broadsheets including The Guardian and The Independent, corporate magazines, and newspapers including London’s Jewish Chronicle. His books on yoga, meditation and a modern look at spirituality, The Kabbalah Sutras and The Kosher Sutras were Amazon Best Sellers and received international book awards. His satirical newspaper columns inspire dedicated followers who read with delight and laughter (and occasional disgruntlement if someone misses the joke). As Shakespeare never said, “you can’t win ‘em all”. Marcus enjoys helping business clients by using his creativity to engage customers on drier topics (like drywall installation techniques, landlord-tenant law or techniques for Termite removal). He is currently working on several screenplays, just like 275,000 other people in Los Angeles.
